Moving to Work Application

The Spartanburg Housing Authority was selected by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development to submit a Moving to Work application and plan in cohort #2 of the Moving to Work expansion.

Moving to Work (MTW) is a demonstration program for public housing authorities (PHAs) that provides them the opportunity to design and test innovative, locally designed strategies that use Federal dollars more efficiently, help residents find employment and become self-sufficient, and increase housing choices for low-income families.

Notice is hereby given that the Housing Authority of the City of Spartanburg (SHA) will hold a public hearing on Monday, December 14, 2020 @ 4:00 PM via Zoom Web Conferencing and conference call. Please visit https://www.shasc.org/mtw to view the draft plan and call in information.  The purpose of the hearing will be to solicit public input on the Moving to Work Plan.
